 Wavy Wav Recorder problem
« Thread Started on Oct 25, 2009, 10:27am »

Atempting to use the Wavy Wav Recorder (either version) I get the problem that the saved .wav files won't play in Windows Mediaplayer.

Wavy Wav Recorder can playback the recording just fine, and other LB programs can play the .wavs just fine too. (Audacity does not have any problem with the .wav files either). But Windows Mediaplayer gives the error message: "Not much memory left" (which shouldn't be a problem since I have about 20 GB available diskspace).

I run it on Windows XP - I have tried different bit/samplerate combinations but the result is the same.

The last update on that code was six years ago. I don't know why there is a problem with the playback in Mediaplayer. Sorry!

It's ok. If Windows Mediaplayer can't read .wav files that any other audio application I tried does not have any problem with I don't see that as a problem with the .wav files, but rather as a problem with Windows Mediaplayer.
