Nothing much to say, except that I'm still fooling around with Thistle-Win. I like TW for what it is, and I appreciate the effort that it took to produce it. I have in mind a TW project that requires some graphics, so I don't think that posting the code at this point would be very useful. But I'm working on a web site where I plan to include my TW projects. I could be done with it and on the web within the next 30 days, or so. My site will not be another forum or blog, it will simply be a place to share my hobby programming (including TW projects) and links to what I find interesting (including TW)...

Fantastic!
I must say that Thomas and I never imagined that anybody would put Thistle-Win to such good use. The program looks very professional!
Thanks for sharing.

Hello again,
I'm working on another TW program. It's a Q and A game. I'm not really a gamer, but it has an interesting twist. I'm now doing the grunt work of putting in the data...
I offered it once as a JB program, but I think it lends itself much better to TW. 2+MB (JB version) is just too much disk space for a simple Q/A game. I think that a small, fast TW version will be much more respectable...
One last thing: I have begun to think of myself as the "King of the TW forum". Would it be Okay if I referred to myself as such on my (seldom visited) web site?
Keep in touch, JFB

Keep in touch, JFB Indeed, Your Majesty! Roy Scott, MichaelW and some others used Thistle and provided some programs. This was back on the Programmer's Haven forum, now defunct. Some of the forum members still gather at this smaller forum, where you'll find a Thistle Board. Feel free to join: codecraft.proboards59.com/
