This is a bugfix update. It fixes the errors reported by Mike that were caused by very large files. If code had more than 33,000 lines there were errors in the branchlabel combobox, the variable listing tool and in the size of the line number margin. You can download the update here: alycesrestaurant.com/workshop.htm

I am currently running a registered copy of version 4.9.1 without problems on Win XP-Home + SP3. I have just noticed there is a later version and have downloaded and tried to install v4.9.4, but it says it has to update my system file(s) (scrrun.dll I think), says it will go off and do it, and then asks me to reboot. However nothing seems to change when I try the installation again after rebooting - so I just go on in a never ending loop! Do you understand the problem I am experiencing and, if so, please can you tell me what I need to do to overcome it. Thank you.
Regards,
Bob

Thanks for the report. I was out of the office yesterday. I'll look into this today.

Alyce, a further update for you. Things get more and more curious!
I put my current LBW problem to my son (who, unlike me, is a professional IT person). He came back to me saying that the scrrun.dll file that I think is causing my problems is part of MS script engine. He gave me a link to download the latest version (5.7) of this for XP (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=47809025-D896-482E-A0D6-524E7E844D81&displaylang=en) but when I tried to install this scripten.exe file I got an error message box saying "Windows Script Setup Error: Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying. There is no need to install this update."
I don't know whether any of this makes sense to you but I thought I ought to tell you about it. The date of the scrrun.dll file currently in my windows/system32 directory is 09-May-2008.
Regards,
Bob

Yes, that DLL is part of the MS scripting engine. It's used in LBW for some file handling tasks.
I will provide an alternate installation package shortly. Thanks for your patience.
