Users report problems resulting in a path/file access error when running on Windows 7 and sometimes on Vista. I cannot reproduce the error on Vista and I do not have access to Windows 7. Here are some things to try, should you encounter this problem: - Delete the file lbworkshop.exe.manifest that is in the installation folder with LBWorkshop.
- Turn off UAC.
- Right-click on the LBWorkshop icon and choose to "run as admin."
- Right-click on the LBWorkshop icon, access the security pane and edit the permissions so that all users have full control.
- Run regedit (from the start->run menu) and remove all
references to LBWorkshop from the registry. This will not affect any other programs or systems.
- Be sure to create or open a file and save it to disk before ending your first session after installation of LBWorkshop.
- Do not register LBWorkshop until you confirm that it works on your computer. It is trialware and you are encouraged to "try before you buy".
