Hello, During the last week or so I noticed that fonts in the GUI builder (caption of different objects like Buttons, TextBox etc.) are considerably larger than before making it very misleading in terms of dimensions and positioning during the building of GUI. I can changed fonts (size and style) in the code but I wonder how to reset fonts (style and size) in the objects during GUI building.
I tried the Tools>Preview Tools>Fonts Dialog. After changing Font Style or Size it always return to "MS Sans Serif - Bold - 10 after pressing "OK". No way to set another style or size.
I have been using LBW for a long time now on the same PC and configuration and never experienced this issue.
What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion on how to set fonts in the objects of GUI builder to a reasonable size? All other fonts in the Gui builder, like Menu at the top, Help tips, etc, are OK, only the caption or description of the objects during GUI building.
Your input will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Luis.

Nothing has changed in LBW. Did you change the font settings on your PC?

Alyce, No, I have not. (honestly I do not know how to do so) but with a bit of guidance how to check about this, I can try to see if this helps. In the last week or so, I did downloaded some XP updates from Microsoft. Could have this change fonts in the PC? Do you have any suggestion on how to verify these settings in XP to see if this changes the fonts in LBW?
Thank you. Luis.

Alyce,
I have not changed any font in the PC but your question made me think about any changed that might have taken place in the settings of the video driver!!??. If there was any changed I have not idea why.
Sure enough the DPI was set at 125, when I changed it back to 96 DPI every thing went back normal on LBW.
I have tried to change the font size in the Properties> Appearance > Fonts, but it was already set to normal.
The solution was lowering the DPIs in the Video Driver.
Thank you for your help and questioning attitude.
Kind regards Luis.

Luis, don't you just hate it when software makes changes to system settings without your permission? My video chat program always changes my midi volume settings in the main volume control. After I begin a chat, I must open my control panel and change them back or I cannot hear the chat. I'm glad you found the problem.
